October 4, 1975 Weatherly jumps out to an early lead and holds on to defeat Pine Grove, 14-12, for the Wreckers first win of the season. Brent Pfeiffer scores on a 20-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, while a 27-yard pass from Paul Richie to Joe Kurtz sets up Frank Hinkle's one-yard TD plunge in the second frame. Kicker Tom Kanyak converts both PATs, which eventually prove to be the difference in the game.
