Drivers facing DUI counts in Lehigh

Two drivers are facing charges of driving under the influence (DUI) following incidents in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said about 4:17 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, troopers stopped Andy Claudio, 26, of Sparrow Way, Breinigsville, along SR222, south of Krocks Rd., in Lower Macungie Township, after his vehicle almost struck a patrol unit. He was found to be under the influence.

The DUI charge is pending blood test results, troopers said.

On Sunday, Oct. 3, about 9:40 p.m. troopers stopped Randy Todd Kehs, 41, of New Tripoli, along SR100 at Claussville Rd., in Lowhill Township, for going 71 miles-per-hour in a 55 zone. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Charges will be filed, troopers said.
