Nesquehoning citations issued

Nesquehoning police issued traffic citations recently.

Officer Thomas Kurtz issued the following citations: speeding tickets on Oct. 1, and 2, at Oak and Catawissa streets. Speeds recorded were 49, 43 and 46 mph in a 25 zone.

Officer Timothy Wuttke cited Elizabeth Ruckhardt, 10 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. She was observed driving in the 400 block of E. Catawissa St.

She was cited for driving under suspension and for insurance cancellation. Also the registration plate was suspended and seized.

Officer Carl Breiner issued the following citations. On Sept. 27 careless driving on SR209 north of Macaluso's restaurant and on the same date no headlights on along SR209 in the same area.
