Purse and cash stolen in Monroe

A theft from a motor vehicle case is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks. It happened between Oct. 6-7 at 3606 Ashley Court, Polk Township.

The victim is Kimberly Ann Smith, 30, of Kunkletown.

She told police someone removed her purse from her vehicle. It contained about $94 in cash and various personal belongings.
