Fuel is stolen in Schuylkill Co.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven are investigtaing the theft of fuel from a rig in Schuylkill County.

The victim is Western Express Inc., Nashville, Tenn. Police said the incident happened between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 8 and 3 p.m. Oct. 9 on East Center Street in Donaldson, Frailey Township.

Police said someone opened the driver's side fuel tank of the company's 2006 International tractor trailer and siphoned about 80-100 gallons of fuel from it before fleeing undected.
