Plate is stolen from car in Monroe

State police at the Lehighton are investigating the theft of a license plate from a vehicle that had been parked at a Monroe County business. The incident happened between 11 p.m. Oct. 7 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 8.

The victim is Thomas J. Skvasik, 35, of Saylorsburg.

He told police someone removed the plate from his vehicle as it was parked at the Jonas Hotel Restaurant, Polk Township.
