The engagement of Sara L. Withers, Lehighton, to Tim A. David, also of Lehighton, has been announced by his father.
The bride is the daughter of the late Dr. Donald Schrader and Marjorie Schrader.
She is a graduate of Newbury Park High School, Newbury Park, Calif., and attended USC, Los Angeles, Calif. for two years. She is employed as the personnel manager for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., working for 15 years at the Lehighton stores; and for one year at the Trexlertown store.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1977 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
He is employed as the parts manager at Lehighton Kia, where he has worked for 16 years.
A wedding date has been set for June 11, 2011.
