Six arrested for underage drinking

Six persons were arrested for underage drinking following an incident that occurred about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to a reported disturbance on Wick Court in Long Pond. Officers were advised that there was a loud party in the woods and persons involved were creating a disturbance.

Officers said six persons were found at the party and all were under the influence of alcohol. Arrested were John Besser, 18, of Long Pond; Raymond Figueroa, 18, of Pocono Summit; Amber Harman, 19, of East Stroudsburg; Matthew Suter, 18, of Pocono Lake; and two juveniles, ages 17 and 15, and both from Tobyhanna.
