Vicki Lynn Ragan, daughter of Brian Mertz, Jim Thorpe and Scott and Lisa Stenack, Lehighton, became the bride of David Ezra Serfass, son of William "Soap" and Wendy Serfass, Lehighton and Kelly and Kelly Hudock, Lehighton, on June 12, 2010, during a ceremony in Jim Thorpe. The Dr. Rev. Wayne Benack officiated the double ring ceremony and Ann Gula was the organist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Nicole Geary, Danielsville as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Steigerwalt, Kristi Troch, and Bridgett McNally, all of Lehighton; and Rachel Christman, Palmerton. Flower girls were McKenna Geary, Danielsville; and Gabrielle Steigerwalt, Lehighton.

The groom's brother, Justin Serfass, Lehighton served as the best man. Ushers were Chip Hartranft and Kyle Troch, both of Lehighton; Glenn Ahner, Palmerton, and Mark Geary, Danielsville. Ring bearers were Chase Geary, Danielsville and Adam Steigerwalt, Lehighton.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Beaver Rod and Gun Club in Lehighton.

The new Mrs. Serfass is a 1995 graduate of Jim Thorpe High School and a 2001 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she earned an AAS in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse for St. Luke's Miners Homecare in Tamaqua.

Mr. Serfass is a 1999 graduate of Lehighton High School and is employed by Longfence, Capital Heights, Md.

The newlyweds now reside in Lehighton.
