Carbon driver facing drug charge

A Carbon County driver is facing drug charges following a vehicle stop. State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred about 10 p.m. on Sept. 2 along SR443 in the area of Lehighton Ford dealership in Lehighton.

Troopers said Floyd Warren Michael, 25, of Lehighton, was stopped for a vehicle code violation.

A further investigation revealed Michael to be in possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and possession fo drug paraphernalia.

Troopers said he will be charged with drug counts.
