Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 7:46 p.m on Friday, Sept. 3, along Gilbert Road at SR209, in Polk Township.

State police at Lehighton said Jamie Buchman, 47, of Saylorsburg, was stopped for a vehicle violation. At the stop Buchman was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.

The DUI charge is pending blood test results, troopers said.
