Three jailed for Schuylkill incident
Three persons were jailed for an incident that occurred in Schuylkill County over the past weekend. State police at Frackville said the incident occurred at 233 S. Spencer St., West Mahanoy Township, on Sunday, Sept. 5, about 9:45 a.m.
Troopers said township police were not on duty when the incident occurred. At the time and location stated a neighbor at the location observed three persons entering the second floor of a garage. The three removed five billiard pool queues/sticks, a set of billiard pool balls and other billiard pool gaming equipment.
The three were identified as Sean K. Anderson, 32, of Quakake, Angela L. Shelitsky, 32, of Frackville, and Thomas H. Yoder, 49, of Ashland. The property owner was identified as Anthony Pasker, of Quakertown, who owns 233 S. Spencer St.
The three were taken into custody by troopers. Anderson consented to a search of his vehicle which resulted in the recovery of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Anderson, Shelitsky and Yoder were arraigned before duty District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon, on charges of burglary, theft and criminal trespass. Anderson was also arraigned on drug related charges. Platchko set bail for each at 10 percent of $50,000 and an additional $5,000 for Anderson on the drug counts. None could post the bail and the three were committed to the county prison in Pottsville.
