Andreas couple wed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Berdell Fritz of Andreas recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Aug. 27, 1960 by the late Rev. Wilbur Moyer.

They are members of St. Peter's Church, Mantzville.

Mrs. Fritz, the former Lorraine Berger, is the daughter of the late Arthur and Marian (Hagenbuch) Berger. Mr. Fritz is the son of the late John and Margaret (Hoppes) Fritz.

They have a daughter Deborah, wife of William Mooney, and a granddaughter, Miranda.

The Fritzes celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner, and also while vacationing in Hawaii with their granddaughter and friends in June.
