Cited for being drunk in Tamaqua

A Tamaqua man has been cited after police received a noise complaint on Sept. 5.

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Pine Street at 3 a.m. for a man reportedly yelling and causing a disturbance. Officers found Kevin Ketchledge, 49, of 402 N. Pine St., sitting on the steps of a residence a block from his home. He told officers he was on his way home from a bar and wasn't bothering anyone.

As he was visibly intoxicated officers escorted him to his home and cited him for public drunkenness.
