September 11, 1987 Jim Paluck scores a pair of touchdowns and throws for another as Panther Valley pulls off a 23-14 upset win over Mount Carmel. Paluck opens the scoring by hitting Jeff Goida with a nine-yard scoring strike. Later he adds a 46-yard TD run and also hits paydirt from nine yards out. The Panthers, coached by Joe Leonzi, receive a 22-yard field goal from Teddy Shober. Paluck finishes with 82 yards rushing with Cory Sheridan adding 57.
