Tamaqua football theft

Tamaqua Police are investigating a break in at a building owned by the Tamaqua Area School District and used by the Blue Raider Football team.

Someone entered the building, located on Coal Street, sometime after the team's first game of the season, between midnight on Sept. 3 and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 4.

The actors left behind several tools used to possibly gain access to the building. Items removed from the house include a large screen televison, footballs and articles of clothing.
