Monroe man facing charges

A Monroe County man is facing charges of possession of child pornography.

State police at Lehighton siad Donald Ray Kemmerer III, 23, of Effort, was arrested following an investigation on a sexual assault incident involving a then six-year-old male.

Kemmerer was picked up on a outstanding warrant on Sept. 1 at his residence at 605 Park Drive, Sun Valley, and arraigned before District Judge JoLanna Krawitz's of Stroudsburg. He failed to post the $25,000 bail set and was lodged in the county prison in Snydersville.
