Two facing bad check counts

Two Schuylkill County residents are facing bad check counts.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said William B. Koenig, 38, of Pine Grove, allegedly passed two checks with insufficient funds at Ken's Tire, 200 Pottsville St., North Manheim Township. Koenig was given the chance to make good on the checks but did not, troopers said, and charges have now been filed.

Tammy L. Heffner, 52, of Valley View, passed a bad check at Ken's Tire and has not made good on it and is now facing charges.
