Tamaqua man is cited
A Tamaqua man has been cited after an alleged confrontation at the home of his ex-girlfriend.
An officer was on patrol at 12:45 a.m. Sept. 7 when he was stopped by Jennifer Yost, 32, of 127 Orwigsburg St. Yost told the officer she had just been "smacked around" by her ex-boyfriend, Travis Cheslock, 36, same address. According to Yost's statement Cheslock had come to her home a few hours earlier and was leaving for the night at 12:20 a.m. The two were disagreeing about some missing medication when, according to Yost, Cheslock grabbed her, ripped her shirt, pinned her against the wall and slapped her in the face. He then left the scene.
There were no visible marks on Yost's face.
Cheslock was cited for harassment.
