Theft reported at Monroe school

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident at the Polk Township Elementary School.

Troopers said Veronica E. Kaye, 44, of Saylorsburg, reported her son returned home from school on Sept. 10 and reported that his Nintentendo DS game system was missing from his book bag. The boy was at the school from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., troopers said.
