Two cited for Tamaqua incident
Two people were cited by Tamaqua police following an Aug. 30 report of ongoing incidents of harassment by communications.
Patrolman Peter Wysochansky was dispatched to 614 E. Broad St at 5:19 p.m. and met with James Nickalas Dolci, 24, resident, and Eric Hardy, 24, of 237 E. Ridge St., Lansford. According to the two men, Hardy was being harassed by Richard Edward Michlovsky, 48, of 261 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, who was making repeated phone calls threatening Hardy.
Hardy elected not to press charges saying he just wanted the incidents to be on file.
Less than 30 minutes later Wysochansky was dispatched to the same address where Michlovsky was allegedly on scene and engaged in a verbal confrontation. The officer saw and heard the argument as the feuding men were on opposite sides of the street. When the officer crossed the street to speak with Michlovsky, Dolci yelled obscenities. Michlovsky admitted making the calls and continued to threaten harm to Dolci.
Michlovsky was cited for harassment by communications and Dolci was cited for disorderly conduct for using profane language.
