Two-vehicle crash probed in Monroe

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 15, along Old Route 115, near Mount Eaton Rd., in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Olen Hagerty, 84, of Stroudsburg, and Delbert C. Wright Jr., 59, of Saltsburg, Indiana County, were both northbound in the area of Borgers Raceway. Wright stopped due to several cars that were turning into the raceway parking lot when his 2005 Peterbilt truck tractor was struck in the rear by Hagerty's 1996 Dodge 1500 truck. Troopers said Hagerty failed to see the vehicles ahead of him stopping. No one was injured in the crash, troopers said.
