Arrests, thefts reported in Lehighton

Lehighton borough police have reported several arrests as well as some thefts.

Wesley Behler, 18, of 321 Ion St., and Michael Richardson, 18, of 116 Bridge St., both of Lehighton, were cited for disorderly conduct as a result of a fight at the Lehighton Area High School sports field on Aug. 27 at about 2:45 p.m. Also cited for disorderly conduct in the same incident were two 14-year-old Lehighton juveniles.

Andrew Stahl, 25, of 212 Carbon St., Lehighton, was cited for public drunkenness on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 7:20 p.m. in the vicinity of 115 N. First St.

Maria Bigas, 55, of Albrightsville, was cited for disorderly conduct for an earlier incident which occurred on June 18 in the vicinity of 148 Bankway.

There were two reports of thefts of Halloween decorations in the area of the 100 block of North Fourth Street between Sept. 16 and 17. Residents are being encouraged to watch for unusual activity and report such activity to the police department.
