Lehighton arrests

Lehighton police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

Barry L. Rausch, 39, of 433 S. Walnut St., Slatington, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 17, at Fegley's Fast Fill along SR443. He was charged with retail theft and public drunkenness. He allegedly left the store with a hoagie valued at $4.99 without paying for it.

Alan J. Everett, 21, of 222 Bankway, and Brian D. White Jr., 21, of 134 Bridge St., both of Lehighton, were cited for violating a borough ordinance prohibiting using roller skates or skate boarding on sidewalks in the business district. The incident occurred about 5:11 p.m. along S. Second St. on Sept. 14, police said.
