Northampton driver facing DUI

A Northampton County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Thomas R. Halley, of Easton, was stopped along SR209 near Chestnut St., in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, about 10:07 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17.

He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said. Charges will be filed.
