Golden Agers

At the Sept. 13 meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers, Joanne Large read a prayer remembering the 9-11 victims.

Alex Shereba displayed his two trophies that were presented to him for being the oldest member and perfect attendance for 22 years at a recent car sow.

New member May McKeever from Tamaqua was introduced and welcomed.

The next birthday celebration will be held in December for birthday celebrants in September, October, November, and December.

At the Oct. 11 meeting, a special guest will display her decorating talent.

Those attending the meeting of Sept. 27 should sign up to participate.

Practice for chorus will be held at St. Joseph's Hall before the next meeting on Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. The Golden Ager meeting will begin at 1 p.m.
