A Montgomery County driver was killed in an early morning, one-vehicle crash in Lehigh County. State police at Fogelsville said the crash occurred about 2:25 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, along Kings Highway, south of Janes Lane, in Lower Milford Township.

Troopers said Aaron S. Keller, 27, of East Greenville, was driving a 1997 Acura Integra southbound when, for unknown reasons, the car exited the road to the right across from Janes Lane and struck a tree on the front passenger side. The car then rotated clockwise and struck a utility pole on the driver side door.

Keller was trapped in the vehicle while his passenger, Andrew D. Ward, 28, also of East Greenville, was ejected from the front seat to the rear hatchback area. Ward was freed from the vehicle by rescue personnel and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Keller was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lehigh County Coroner's office personnel.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.
