Tamaqua Chamber golf tourney winners

The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce held its third annual golf tournament recently at Villas Crossing golf course, South Tamaqua. The winning team, ETA Benefits group, won a tie-breaker with a birdie on the 17th hole to take the four-man scramble title. Award winners from the tournament were, from left, ETA Benefits group team member Gar Thomas; Steve Schultz, longest drive, male, hole 18; ETA members Michelle Minick, Luke Kowalonek and Mark Kowalonek; and Service Electric team members Sam Stanakis and Jack Millard, who received a last place award. Luke Kowalonek also won the putting contest, while Minick had the longest drive for the ladies on hole 17. Patrick Caster won the closest to the pin award on hole 3.
