Monroe resident victim of fraud

A Monroe County resident is a victim of fraud, theft and forgery.

State police at Fern Ridge said Joanne Boyle, 57, of Theresa Lane, Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, reported someone charged $2,500 worth of merchandise on her credit card without her permission. The purchases were made during the period of Sept. 2 and Wednesday, Sept. 29, troopers said.

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
