Monroe woman facing charges

A Monroe County woman is facing charges following an incident at a drive-thru at an area restaurant.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 1:05 a.m. on Sept. 19 officers were called to the McDonald's Restaurant in Mt. Pocono for a reported assault.

Upon arrival officers learned that Nicole Mills, 31, of Pocono Summit, had rear-ended another vehicle were hers in the drive-thru. When the female driver of the other car got out to inspect the damage she and Mills got into an argument.

During the argument Mills allegedly pushed the other driver to the ground while yelling over top of her. Mills then fled the scene when she learned police were called.

Mills was charged with simple assault, damage to attended property, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while under suspension.
