Tamaqua man cited for ordinance violation
If you're going to allow your dog to defecate on someone else's, or public property, next to a police station is not the place you want to select.
John M. Temchatin, 56, of 500 Arlington St., Tamaqua, was walking his dog at 6:43 a.m. Saturday, in the vicinity of Tamaqua Borough Hall, 320 E. Broad St, allowing the animal to do its business in the grass near the employee parking spaces. He made no effort to clean up after the pooch.
The action was witnessed by an on duty police officer.
When questioned, Temchatin said he was leaving the area to go and get something to clean up. He was cited for violating a borough ordinance.
