Published April 04. 2011 05:00PM

The Pocono-Lehigh Romance Writers (PLRW) will hold its next meeting at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at the Palmer Township branch of the Easton Area Public Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer Township.

Award-winning local author Molly Cochran will present "Finishing Your Novel," including hints on how to finish the first draft of your novel.

"The further along you go, the harder it gets to keep all the ideas working together developing, growing, evolving into new, increasingly complex patterns," Cochran explains.

She has written 26 novels and four nonfiction books, and received the Edgar Award for best novel from the Mystery Writers of America. Two of her novels ("Grandmaster" and "The Forever King") and one nonfiction book ("Dressing Thin") hit The New York Times best-seller list. Her latest novel, "Legacy," will be published in late fall by Simon & Schuster.

Cochran taught writing at Moravian College and a women's prison in Tennessee. She writes a blog on writing techniques at www.mollycochran.com/blog. For more information, go to www.mollycochran.com.

The Pocono/Lehigh Romance Writers group, a chapter of Romance Writers of America, is dedicated to promoting excellence in fiction writing by providing continuous support to its members, who are writers from the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountain areas of Pennsylvania, and western New Jersey.
