Woman arrested, charged in assault
A Blakeslee woman was arrested for simple assault after police investigated a domestic incident.
According to Pocono Mountain Regional police, on March 31, at 8:44 a.m., police were called to investigate a possible protection from abuse (PFA) order violation that occurred at 1122 N. Mountain Road, Sierra View, over the past weekend.
The incident subsequently resulted in a domestic assault occurring five days later between Jennifer O'Neal, 35, and a 17-year-old female juvenile. O'Neal turned herself in at Pocono police headquarters and was arrested for simple assault and harassment. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
