Student of the month
Zeleniak
Katya Zeleniak, granddaughter of Mary Zeleniak Pituch of Nesquehoning and the late Rev. Basil Zeleniak of Mahanoy City, was named student of the month in February.
Katya is a fourth-grade student at St. Michael School in Augusta, Maine. Her parents are Darryl and Karen Zeleniak of Litchfield, Maine. Her father, Darryl, is a graduate of Marian High School who practices orthodontics in Augusta.
Her grandmother Mary Pituch and her husband, Victor Pituch reside in Lake Hauto.
