April 8, 1968 Ed Jacoby and Wilbur Arner both win a pair of events to help Lehighton's track team post an 84 1/2-11 1/2 win over Marian. Jacoby claims the top spot in the shot put and discus while Arner breaks the tape in the 100 and 220 yard dashes. The Indians, coached by Ken Reid, receive five more individual firsts. Those come from Denny Harleman (mile), Monroe Berger (440), Gary Fedor (880), Norm Frey (high jump) and Gary Reabold (broad jump).
