Tamaqua woman cited for retail theft

A Tamaqua woman has been cited for retail theft after an incident at Boyer's Market, 210 Cedar St., Tamaqua, on Tuesday.

Dorothy L. Molion, 39, of 27 Center St., was in the store that day at approximately 7:21 a.m. when she allegedly placed a pack of Wrigley's gum in her pocket. When confronted by store employees she admitted to not having the money to pay for the gum, valued at $2.59.

She was taken into custody, cited and released.
