Schuylkill man facing theft count

A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge of theft following an incident that occurred on April 6.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said John Bruno, 28, of Nesquehoning, an employee of the Full Service Vending Co., of McAdoo, went to the Cardinal Systems plant along SR61 at Manheim Rd., in North Manheim Township, about 5:30 p.m. to service the vending machines in the plant.

While Bruno was inside the plant an employee of the firm entered the victim's service vehicle and removed two coin bags and a cellular phone. Another employee saw the incident and reported it.

The suspect was identified as Daniel Rhodes, 23, of Schuylkill Haven. He will be charged with theft from a vehicle, troopers said.
