JT police make shoplifting arrest

Jim Thorpe police arrested Pamela L. Bowman, 34, of 74 Broadway, second floor, Jim Thorpe, on a second degree misdemeanor charge of retail theft after an incident at the Turkey Hill Minit Mart, 101 Susquehanna St., on March 1.

Police said the woman was in the store at 5:24 p.m. when she allegedly stole two Bic mini lighters, two packs of Marlboro cigarettes and three Hershey peanut butter eggs having a combined value of $17.27.
