Monroe driver facing DUI charge

Cesar Rosa, 49, of Henryville, is facing a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, and other summary traffic offenses, after Pocono Mountain Regional Police stopped him on April 13 at 1:57 a.m. while he was driving at the intersection of Rt. 940 and Short lane in Tobyhanna Township.

Police said he was observed driving eastbound in the westbound lane of traffic and police had to swerve off the roadway to avoid being struck headon by Rosa's vehicle.

Police said he traveled about a quarter mile in the westbound lane before he was stopped and found to be intoxicated.
