PFA violation nets man incarceration

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said Isaiah Garcia, 27, of Tobyhanna, was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility on April 11 after polilce responded to a domestic disturbance at 6:58 p.m. at A Pocono Countty Place.

Police said the development's security personnel beckoned them after Garcia and Maria Melendez, 28, of Tobyhanna, were involved in a domestic dispute. Police later learned Garcia was in violation of a Protection From Abuse order issued against him in Monroe County Court, taking him into custody resulting in incarceration.
