Two are charged with retail theft

Two persons were arrested for shoplifting recently by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said the retail theft incidents happened at Kinsley's Market and Mr. Z's Weis Merket, both located along Rt. 209 in Chestnuthill Township, Brodheadsville.

Police said Carlos Hernandez, 27, of East Stroudsburg, was arrested for trying to steal a can of Red Bull energy drink and a Gillette Fusion razor valued at $15.88. That incident took place at 3:30 p.m. April 14, at Kinsley's.

Jessica Ann Cullen, 33, of Effort, was arrested for trying to steal beauty items valued at $23.13 from Mr. Z's at 1:30 p.m. April 14.
