Lehighton resident cited for violation

A Lehighton resident has been cited for violating a borough ordinance.

Borough police said Jake C. Buskirk, 31, of 406 S. Ninth St., was cited Sunday, April 10, at 2:58 p.m. for violating ordinance 118-9 which states, "Garbage receptacles shall be removed from the curbline or location placed for pickup by 9 a.m. the day following garbage pickup."

Police said garbage pickup was Friday, April 8.
