Man cited at accident scene
A Monroe County man was cited at a accident scene.
State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred about 8:13 a.m. on April 17 along Pheasant Run Road, near Merwinsburg Road, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Geroge Chamas, 58, of Saylorsburg, a volunteer fireman, and Neal Murphy, 74, of Kunkletown, became involved in a verbal argument over the closure of Pheasant Run Road due to a traffic accident.
During the dispute Murphy got out of his vehicle and allegedly bumped Chamas. Murphy was cited for harassment, troopers said. Chamas was not injured in the incident.
