Registration plate theft is probed

State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a vehicle registration plate.

Troopers said the incident occurred near an entrance to the Sears store in the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township. The plate from the vehicle was Randy Dale Zartman, 47, of Klingerstown, was removed sometime between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 23. The state registration plate number is HRJ6725.
