Theft, other incidents probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported on theft and other incidents probed by troopers.

Frances Bieser, 70, of Kresgeville, reported someone stole $360 from her wallet that was misplaced at the McDonald's Restaurant along SR209, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The incident was reported at 3 p.m. on April 21.

John Stenger, 66, of Stroudsburg, reported his 1999 Seamco utility trailer was stolen from his property at 6390A Effort Neola Rd., in Chestnuthill Township, sometime between of April 17-18. The trailer is a meta black in color with a single swing gate on the rear. It had state registration plate XM05670 on it.

A 2000 300cc Kawasaki Bayou red in color, all terrain vehicle (ATV) was reported stolen from 5 Springs Rd., in Jackson Township, Monroe County. The theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. April 20 and 6:15 a.m. on April 21.

Troopers said the quad ATV was parked behind a shed and may have been pushed to the roadway and loaded on a trailer or truck.

Two criminal mischief incidents were probed.

Unknown persons damaged the window of a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu while parked for sale on a lot at Raceway Auto Sales, located along SR209, in Chestnuthill Township. The incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. April 19 and 9 a.m. on April 20.

A mailbox was knocked over by unknown persons along Pawnee Trail, in the Mt. Pocohontas development in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, sometime between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22.
