Two vehicle crash probed in Monroe

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 6:22 p.m. on April 16, along Weir Mountain Road at the intersection with Frable Drive, in Eldred Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Joe M. Schnorr, 47, of Kunkletown, was operating a 1994 Chevrolet Astro eastbound on Frable while Michael J. Linder, 46, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer north on Weir Mountain Road. At the intersection Schnorr never stopped and entered the intersection and struck the back driver's side of the Blazer with the front of the Astro.

Three passengers with Linder, Paolina J. Linder, 46, and two juveniles, ages eight and 12, all sustained minor injuries and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance.

Schnorr and his passenger, Alicia M. Schnorr, 44, and Linder were not injured. Both vehicles sustained minor damages.

Troopers said Schnorr was cited for a stop sign violation.
