Graduates from Lebanon Valley

Tabitha Brobst, daughter of Tom and Kathy Brobst of Tamaqua, graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a bachelor of arts degree in English/secondary Education. Commencement exercises were held May 14.

While attending LVC, Brobst served as a peer mentor and co-chair for the campus' Colleges Against Cancer Relay For Life event. Named to the dean's list, she graduated magna cum laude with a 3.6 grade point average.

A 2007 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, she spent the fall 2009 semester studying abroad at the Athens Centre in Athens, Greece, and is currently serving with AmeriCares, working for Child Health Services in Manchester, N.H.
