Support group

St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital offers patients and families educational and informational services through the Diabetes Support Group. Conducted by Jennifer Gross, MA, RD, LDN, clinical dietician, the group addresses problems and concerns for the diabetic patient.

The next meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 in the board room at St. Luke's Miners. The topic is "Medication and Diabetes." Learn how different medications, including insulin, work to help control diabetes. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
