August 18, 1946 Vince Lisella delivers a pinch-hit RBI single in the bottom of the 15th inning to lift Summit Hill to a 2-1 Panther Valley League win over Nesquehoning. Walt Zuber singles up the middle to lead off the 15th and later advances to second on a bunt. Zuber then races home on Lisella's hit to left-center. Zuber and Billy Haldeman each finish with two hits for the winners while Imrich Sarabok tosses all 15 innings for the pitching win. Imrich allows 11 hits and also strikes out 11 batters.
