No injuries in Schuylkill crash
No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 9:23 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, along SR183, a quarter-mile north of Schuylkill Mountain Road, in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Daphne Fridirici, 20, of Schuylkill Haven, was northbound and going up a hill while negotiating a left curve. Daniel Foose, 57, also of Schuylkill Haven, was southbound and going down the hill. Troopers said Fridirici lost control of her 1996 BMW, which began to spin counter-clockwise into Foose's lane of travel.
The front of the BMW struck the driver's side of Foose's 2004 Chevrolet Silverado.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
